Prom Spot - Trend Alert: <i>Twilight</i>-Themed Proms

Are you as Twilight-obsessed as we are? Then why stick to a stale, "traditional" theme like Jungle Boogie or Masquerade Ball? This prom, pay homage to the coolest book and movie series -- maybe ever.

Spooky Forest Setting
Throw a Twilight prom and give fans the chance to live vicariously through Edward and Bella. Scour your attics and basements for your parents' fake Christmas trees and create a faux forest like the ones surrounding Forks, Washington, where Edward and Bella live.

Casino Royale
You could even take it a bit further and recreate Twilight's amazing Monte Carlo prom with a red carpet at the entrance and a Monte Carlo Casino welcome sign. Use orange lanterns, twinkle lights, ice sculptures, and mock-casino games with light-up dice and card tables. You can even rent a gazebo for the photography booth. That way you get the traditional Monte Carlo theme, but with a contemporary twist -- and you get to be Bella. (Now, if only your date looked like Edward.)

Vampy Details
Hand out plastic vampire fangs and take prank photos of promgoers being "bitten." To really amp up the theme, rent a projector and play clips from the movie.
